5 out of 5 stars  The Excitment of Being There

By John Antaya "Mgr. at Aea Marketing LLC" (Windsor, On. Canada)

At the present time I find myself only half way through this adventurous book. The book not only makes you feel as if you are also with the participants in their journey but, also enables you to understand the process of taking action and deal with unknowns that may arise on your journey with them. This book also teaches you aspects of business life and the journey involved and what can happen along the way.

This is a book that I very much recommend that people read, especially any person who is thinking of starting their own business. You have the action needed, the mindset to deal with whatever can happen, along with friendships that you need to keep nurturing along the way.

John Antaya

5 out of 5 stars  Many Stars that shine

By Paige Gilson "MICANOPY, FL USA"

I have listened to and admired Brian Tracy for years and have often wondered where he came from.He is so confident and self assured. And most of all extremely knowledgeable about people and sales. Some of us go to the college of hard knocks instead of the University however Brian put those experiences to awesome use.It was nice to get to know him starting out along the path to success.
I urge anyone who is a seeker to read this. I hope he continues the story.

5 out of 5 stars  A Great Story that Inspires!

By F. Poli "Fabrizio Poli" (Chorley,Lancashire, UK)

This is about Brian's trip through the Sahara desert and the lessons he learned along the way. It's full of lessons and Brian tells how he invested this experience into his business life and the results he got!
Great fun read!

5 out of 5 stars  Get right to the point - right now!

By "oceanbound" (Arkdale, WI USA)

Brian Tracy is the undisputed master of motivational, sales, and management training worldwide. His students love his practical, common sense approach to success. But have you ever wondered why? Does he have some kind of pipeline to the universe that we lack? No, just a lifetime of experience based on trial and error. Here in this book is the beginning of the Brian Tracy mindset, an epic journey that taught him lesson of life and success that he developed and taught throughout his life and to this day. But, hey, it's a great story too! Full of adventure, travelogue, colorful background, and shady characters. Just try and put it down once you start. Sure to become a classic and a must read in the field of motivational literature. Enjoy, and thanks Brian for sharing this wonderful portion of your life.

5 out of 5 stars  Learning about life from crossing the Sahara

By J. Straub (Cleveland Heights, OH United States)

Many Miles to Go combines a enthralling real-life story of Tracy's trek across Africa's Sahara desert and his reflective commentary on what he learned and what we could learn from his experiences. Unlike the typical business or personal development book, Many Miles to Go is a narrative that also has the remarkable ability to deliver Tracy's key points about success both in your career and life. If the book had to be summarized in just a few words, they would be to set a goal and begin moving towards it and to treat each experience along the way as preparation for something later. The book is a must-read for anyone who wants to reach, as Tracy would say, their full potential.

5 out of 5 stars  Thank you Brian!

By Alex Horton (Norfolk, VA)

I just got this book in the mail today, it should be finished soon!

I am a 19 year old male in community college and your work is quickly becoming one of the biggest and most powerful, positive influences in my life. I got turned onto your work by a very successful health-food entrepreneur David Wolfe who references you, and have been hooked ever since.

I think your courses on success should be taught in ALL universities!

Thanks again,
Alex

3 out of 5 stars  Not the usual Brian Tracy book I expected

By ServantofGod

First of all, I must admit that I am a true Brian Tracy fan who had read his books and attended his franchised seminars. Tracy and Robbins are the two best writers/speakers of the league, in my opinion. However, perhaps I am not flexible enough, I really could not connect myself to this travel log of Brian (the predominant style and content of the book) interwoven with his wise and encouraging messages. For those who like reading novels or adventure type of book, this can be a go. If not, please give this a pass and pick, "Victory!", my all time favorite, with satisfaction guaranteed.

5 out of 5 stars  "I Needed an Inspirational Kick in the Pants"

By Sean Brennan

"I'm not one that's usually into the inspirational books that try in one way or the other to put you and your life on a particular path or at least to inspire you towards this path. So I was rather hesitant to read "Many Miles to Go", which my father had thought I would enjoy, and so with a little hesitation, I sat down and read it, and to my surprise, loved it. The fact that it was not just an inspirational tale about perseverance and belief, but the fact that there was also a great story about travel, life, and friendship to go along with the inspirational words and quotes, was what made me dig this book even further. I myself am quite connected to disappointment and having huge dreams that don't always look to be coming true. I am a writer that has been out in LA for the past two years trying to get my career as a screenwriter and novelist going, with very limited success, but I keep on writing, backed by my own confidence in my work, as well to a certain extent on your book and your story. My father gave it to me at a time when I was really into the dumps about my career path and he felt that I needed an inspirational kick in the pants, which I did, and which I received from the book, as he well knew that it would give me, so to him and to you, I thank you. As a fan, and a writer myself, I just wanted to touch base and tell you that your work has touched another."

5 out of 5 stars  Tracy is King

By Barry Katz (Brooklyn, NY United States)

When it comes to motivational speaking and writing, nobody tops Tracy. Personally, motivation doesn't do much for me. Instead, I read stories of what NOT to do in business, like what they have on the Not Yet Successful Entrepreneur Zone....
