There are a lot of books and cds on how to sell, and sell better. Brian Tracy is one of my favorites along with Zig Zigler. The cd has some really good tips on how to sell better/smarter, even in a tough market like this one. Worth it if you're in sales of any sort.

This cd is great. It is excellent material for someone just beginning in sales. This cd touches on the most important fundamental elements of selling including: attitude, planning, prospecting, managing customer relationships, handling objections, closing the sale and other sales practices. I highly recommend it.

Brian Tracy has been in sales since he was 10 years old and is an established sales professional as well as arguably the best sales trainer in the business. His cd series The Psychology of Selling has sold nearly a million copies. Brian has trained over 500,000 sales people all over the world.
Superstar Selling encapsulates the best of what Brian has learned. It is well worth listening to again and again. Also recommend The Psychology of Selling and Advanced Sales Strategies by Brian.
I don't know anyone who is successful in selling who is not using these techniques and does not recommend Brian Tracy.
