How to Respond to Egomaniac People?

This is very interesting subject to express in the blog. The reason is I took weeks to go through the lessons too. Dealing with ego mind can drained the energy and cause us emotionally and mentally tired. I have been through that for weeks and then I realise this; all of us took years to just understand ‘Why we have these people in our lives?’. Although we know that everyone is a teacher and if they didn’t teach us beautiful experiences, they teach us the ugly ones. But that’s not the salvation. We didn’t stop experiencing ugly moments in life even after we knew the answer. And it keeps coming back to us, isn’t it? So answering the question is not the solution here.

Egomaniac people (the term is just for the article only) are people who unconsciously run their lives through their ego minds. They (the people) are the passenger and the driver is the ego mind. They go where the ego mind takes them, which against their free spirit. You can see there are many people still stuck in their ego minds, and that including me and you. We have been generalized into ego being. Although the consciousness is rising and there are many people are now practise to be present and allow the ego minds to lose its control, there are also people who still hasn’t aware. And these are the people who appear in our presence for many reasons and one of it is to get touch with the light of consciousness that we bring into this world.

The ultimate way to face the egomaniac people is to be present, be in the state of love. That also the easiest way but not many people understand the concept of Just It. So I’m going to share with you the practical ways to face the egomaniac people so you didn’t get caught in the dramas and hopefully in the same time shed some light into their beings with love.

Short respond.

Here’s the ugly truth. When we are dealing with war between egos, nobody wins. The energy of the war itself is use to feed the egos and we end up in emotional pain. But in moments like this (the war), we are so tempted to be heard, we are so eager to explain the ‘truth’ of ourselves but war means no explanation needed.

So the best way to deal with it is just give short respond to the person. And from my experiences, I just responded “okay” or “alright”. Then I leave before my ego mind takes the driver seat.

Avoid their games.

The ego always wanted to be feed. It creates situations so it can be feed and rises. Take a moment to observe egomaniac people; you will notice that they always find ways to create situations that can feed their egos. They complaints and give reasons that others created the situations (mostly problems) and they are the solutions. Take note how the wars in this world started. If you notice their game, avoid playing it. Walk away if you can but if that’s not the choice, just observe it without judgement. That way you wouldn’t fall into the unconscious ego game they created.

Breathe Consciously.

This is the gate to the ultimate way; being present. Breathe as if the only way to stay alive is to stay aware that you are breathing. No thinking by doing that. Just breathe. Go inward with the miracle healing of air and oxygen. And then in between you and the other person is a space for transformation to take place. There was a time when I did this; I noticed the breathing of the said person become aligned with mine, in same beat and harmony. Then the person no longer feel trapped in his own unconscious mind. That’s how we can help ourselves and let the transformation and the light of consciousness help the other person.

Be Transparent.

If you read the book The Power of Now, you would familiar with ‘Be Transparent’. But it takes lots of practise to be transparent. Transparent in this context is not related to honesty. It’s something like soul, transparent. It’s something like clear water where you can see what’s inside it. If you can see aura, you only see the transparent colour(s). Do notice that you can also see whatever things behind the aura, the visible things. That’s what it means by being transparent. This method, whatever is coming onto you will not hit you because there is no wall to hit. It then will go through you; just like your sight go through the aura, the soul (that’s including spirits) and water.

Most important point here is not to fall into the unconscious ego mind that you have in you. That’s the whole point of this article. It’s not about changing the egomaniac people and forces them to surrender their ego mind. That’s not our job. This practical ways is about saving ourselves so that we do not stop rising our consciousness from day to day. The rest will be taken care just the way it is.

Those who have followed my blog since last year knew that I am contributing articles on motivation, personal growth and healing to a lifestyle monthly newspaper/magazine called The Iskandarian/Waves Lifestyle. All the articles that I wrote and I am writing are to inspire reader, to educate readers on energy healing and emotional healing and to give hope to many people who feel that life is tough and uneasy.

Recently I have brought the magazine and the previous articles (re-printed) to the new readers, Filipinos who I worked together as a team. I am grateful that the sharing of experiences and knowledge are expanding to the international readers like the Filipino.

How to Heal Your Past?

We all have our pasts; the happy ones, the hurtful ones, the joyful or the terror ones. We all been there and experienced it. Sometimes we remember our pasts to the details especially the hurtful ones. How can we not? Why should we forget about our pasts since it was part of the reason of who we are? Even if we could forget who we were in the past, can we forget the memory? We are all human; there is no delete button in our heads. So why are talking about forgetting our past?

My fellow readers, I must say this; Keep the Past. Do not throw it away. Do not deny it. Do not run away from it. Do not go crazy with it too. You must understand that the past, present and future cannot be separated. However, it can be healed.

1. Make Peace with It.

When your past is haunting you right to the present moment, make peace with it. It means making peace with you entirely. It will help you stop sabotage your present moments; the joy that you entitled to achieve.

What happen if you didn’t make peace with it? It makes you think you are living your past. It makes you want to believe that it have created you (therefore you must live with it). By thinking you are living on it, you have added more energy to it. It makes it harder for you to forget it.

Although the past cannot be separate with you, the truth is you are not living it. It only lives the memory Inside Your Mind. So make peace with it. And how can you do that? Read the next one.

2. Acceptance.

Accept whatever that happened to you in the past. Accept the pain and the situation all-together. Accept the shame, the guilt and the resentment. Only by acceptance, you acknowledge that the past is another subject of energy; a totally different from your being. This subject of energy that attached to you is the energy from the memory. By accepting it, you have detached yourself from the energy of the past. You are now looking at it from the eyes of the present YOU instead of the eyes of your past.

Tips: Write a letter to your past. Mention what you are feeling right now about your past. Say what you must with kindness and love. Write it from the heart of a Love being and not from the mind that pass judgement or emotions that get carried away.

3. Forgive Yourself.

Whether things that happened in your past was your mistake or somebody else, give forgiveness to yourself first and then others. Forgiveness is healing. After you have detached yourself from the energy, you should fill the void with love. By filling it with forgiveness, you have already given love to yourself.

Tips: Say I Love You as much as you can. Write and say a simple affirmation such as “I am filling myself with Love and allow forgiveness to heal my past. And so it is. Thank You”

You may ask; what’s the difference it makes, the memory is still there?

The memory doesn’t go away. That’s the fact. What goes away is the energy that attached to the memory. By these processes, the energy gets transmuted. Once it transmuted, whenever you recall the memory or it came back to you in surprise, you will look at it as a witness rather than as a victim. You will face it with love rather than judgement. You can smile at it and not going crazy thinking you are your past. The past no longer sabotage your present moments.

In the other words it gives you Healing.

How to Increase Your Energy Before You Go To Work?

Have you experience this before you go to work every morning; complaining about the stress your job is giving you and you are feeling heavy about the stress that you are going to experience it again today?

If you are experiencing this, you are not alone because majority of people are experiencing it. Many people experience it for a long period of time. I did experience it many years ago when I was working in logistic company. The hectic of the job, the meetings, the demands from bosses and clients became a gang of stress to me. So I feel you and understand the stress too. But I found the solutions.

Before we get to the solutions, you must first understand what is keeping you running on the same stress and hardly break the chain between you and the stress? The answer is you choose to go to work when your energy is in low vibration. You get the low vibration by thinking the things that already pulling your energy down like the stress, the demands, the arguments, the meetings, the datelines and more.

The solution is not about eliminating all the stress and the source of the stress but to prepare you on energy level and increase your vibration before you face another (or same) stress at your work today. When you face the stress with higher vibrations, you are controlling the stress entirely. Most important thing is the stress has no power over you anymore. The tips is for those who feel they have no enough time to live their morning peaceful life.
Here are the tips:

Sunbathing (Morning Sunlight)

Before you start the car’s engine and heading to your office, spend 5-10 minutes facing the Sun. The best time is when the sun just rose, the colors of the Sun are between orange to yellow and the heat is cozy warmth. Sunlight increase energy level in you. Sunlight generates Vitamin D for your skin.

Relax Your Mind

During sunbathing the morning light, close your eyes and think nothing. Put aside all the meetings and works you have in your mind. Remember you still have another 7-8 hours to think about your work, so quiet the thoughts for 5-10 minutes won’t do you any harm. In the process, take few deep breaths and feel the morning breeze. Let the energy and the peaceful life flow in you beautifully.

Touch the Nature

What I mean by ‘touch the nature’ is connect yourself and your body with the nature by touching them. Here are few simple tips for you; stand barefoot on the soil or touch your plants. Speak your love to them silently and their love will be with you the entire day. All the elements that come from the Earth contain healing energy for you. You need it in overcome the stress later on.

Affirmation

Go to work only when your mind, emotion and physical are fill with your own power. When you go to work without getting ready to face the stress, it will feel like going to war without weapons. You will get weak by the stress and pressure throughout the day. Get yourself ready and program your mind by saying these simple affirmations:

I am power of love. I am power of peace. I am power of harmony and I claim all the power of me. All my works are within my control. I cherish all of it with joy and love.

Throughout the day, these powers become yours. And when stress is visiting you, it has no power over you. When you realize it, you will know how to use the stress and turn it as a force in achieving your goals and works.

Why Letting Go With Fire Is Not A Good Idea?

You just broke up with your lover and you have so much anger, fear, frustration and hatred in you. These emotions soon become non-beneficial feelings and situations to you. All you have now is the urge to take the burden away from you. Then you started to grab a piece of paper and write down your feelings. Once you have finished it, you started to burn the piece of paper. Do you do this? Are you familiar with the tips?

I’ve seen this act many times in my life. I thought it was a great steps but I was wrong. Here I am about to tell you that the act of burning it is not a good idea to get rid things and emotions. Here are the reasons why.

1. Fire promotes heat.

Do not burn the non-beneficial feelings or situations with fire. It will only get worst.

When you write the feelings and situations you don’t like on paper, you have transfer the energy onto the paper through your powerful words. When you burn it, the fire increase heat on the words you wrote on the paper. That is why whoever burn their emotions through this process, didn’t really heal from the pain. Instead, they get more heat from it.

2. Fire relate to anger.
How do you feel when you get close to fire? Do you feel uncomfortable burning by the heat? How do you feel when you are standing closer to someone who is angry? Do you feel intensity and uncomfortable? Fire promotes intensity. The words you just burned have increased its intensity and turning into uncomfortable sensation of yours. It also means, if you burning your anger, you only gets more anger later on.

3. Energy Can’t Be Destroyed.
Since energy can’t be destroyed, whatever feelings or situations that you try to burn are still has its energy only in different form. The non-beneficial feelings and situations you thought has been destroyed are in fact still linger in your life.

The right way to get rid things is to transmute the energy you no longer need in harmony ways. Instead of burn it, try burying it. The act of bury means death and to our subconscious mind, it means ‘no longer serve us (the living)’. In fact, the energy you put onto the paper and the paper itself will be transmuted naturally by the nature.

And here’s the important part, it is alright if you need unleash all the non-beneficial feelings on the paper but close your case with gratitude and thank the feelings or situations for their services. This way, you are not just sending it off with anger but you choose to end it with LOVE. The energy of Love (the most powerful energy in the Universe) that you give will heal the energy of anger, fear, frustration or hatred that you released earlier. In the end, it all becomes a HEALING for your emotions.

If bury is too much for you, simply throw it away outside your house for recycle process. And the key words; send it off with LOVE.

The Healing State

During my absence in motivation line-of-work, I got helped. I got it from people who used to walk on same path before, I got it from people who experienced same things like I did and I even got it from experts. These people understand the meaning of “The Healing State”.

One of the articles in this blog has explained my situation and why I choose to step aside from coaching until I get myself healed. One and the main reason was I unable to contribute “The Healing State” to the people I help or coach (I described it as I was lack in positive and love energy). Love and positiveness is important contribution in healing process. Allow me to explain an example.

A person who is sad, devastated, frustrated or heartbroken carries negative energy with him. He will shower and spread the negative energy towards surrounding with or without he realize it.

A healer is a person who carries positive energy with him. The source of positive energy is Love. Good healers shower and spread positive energy towards surrounding with or without he realize it. Here’s the question: What will happen when negativity meets positiveness?

The answer is, the energy will be neutralized and the state is called Healing.

When I relate the healing state with my progress, am I healed? Yes. I had progress positively and I’m eternally grateful with the progress but I do not achieve the state I want yet. I knew it is there and I will get to that stage sooner than I thought. So, those who wish I come back in action soon, thank you for the wishes. I will come back.  The heavy rain has stopped. It just drizzling now and the sun will be shined in no time.

Five Powerful Cleansing Phrases

I wrote this statement in my Yahoo Messenger since two weeks ago and I got many responded from people in the list. Most of the respond were curious about my life. Only one asked me directly “What’s with the status?”

The status goes like this:

I love you. I forgive you. Please forgive me. I am sorry and Thank you.

I love when people curious about these phrases and I explained to them that these are cleansing phrases. These five phrases are commonly use in daily life but many do not aware that these phrases has cleansing power. It cleanses ourselves from the unnecessary thoughts that we restore inside our mind especially our subconscious minds. In another article, it says that:

This cleansing technique called Ho’oponopono, started in Hawaii, founded by Morrnah Nalamaku Simeon and documented for healing proof by Dr. Hew Len, her student.

Everything in our lives was partly created by us. The creation is not just with our hands and actions but also with our minds. Everything started with our minds. Take a quick moment and check out what were the last things we have in our minds? A world peace? A meal? A solution to confrontation? A gift for the lover? A happy family? A prepared dialogue for argument? Jealousy thoughts? These thoughts and many other thoughts were sent out to the Universe and in the creation process instantly.

According to Dr. Hew Len, who have managed to heal violence patients in Hawaii State Hospital described that he do not heal them, instead he healed part of himself that created them (the patients).

Ho’oponopono and Healing

I practice Ho’oponopono everyday especially at night. Sometimes I just do the cleansing generally but sometimes I specifically focus on a thing. When I dealt with my fear and anger, I specifically use Ho’oponopono to cleanse the relationship, the situation and myself that relate to fear and anger.  Over the time, it has helped me reduce the intensity that fear and anger have towards me. It also help me to cleanse the unnecessary thoughts of anger and fear in this now moment (that I might now aware of it), so it would not emerge uncontrollably in my reality later.

When a person takes responsibility in his creation and aware that as a human, he would not be able to run away from destructive thoughts, Ho’oponopono is one of the best cleansing techniques a human could give to himself and to the rest of the world.

And here’s the best part of Ho’oponopono, it didn’t require meditation or specific ritual to cleanse our minds. It also didn’t tie to any religion specifically. These five phrases can be used anywhere, everywhere, to any situation we like, to people we love or dislike and use it for love. All we need to do is to repeat these phrases many times (many times = mantra).

  • Please forgive me
  • I am sorry
  • Thank you

Five beautiful phrases and yet contains powerful love and cleansing materials. Take responsibility that we are creating the life and the world. Put our egos aside, surrender ourselves to God and cleanse ourselves with love. Last, belief that the world and life that comes to us would be better, beautiful and cleaner than before.
