Wearing A Veil

Recognition is an unpredictable stuff. Some people can spend a lot of time with you but they still don’t recognise your true self. What they see is a veil that covers you. And because they don’t know that the veil is not part of you, they will say “the veil makes you perfect so keep wearing it”. It’s not their fault, and not yours either because we don’t know we are wearing a veil.

The moment you take off the veil, you become your True Self and suddenly these people don’t know who you are. They cannot recognise you because all these while they see you through a veil. But some people could recognise you from far away even they don’t know you that much.

That’s why I feel recognition of a True Self is unpredictable because we don’t know who will notice it and who don’t. And the moment you take off your veil, your life will change, your circle of people will change, your priority will transform and your purposes will be recognised.

This Is My Story of LOVE

This is about Love and me and how I view Love differently now.

I was a different person seven years ago, and far way different 10 to 15 years ago. But the essence of who I Am is the same. Deep inside I could feel the same Me. That makes me realised that I Am the same Love. The only different now is I let Love express with freedom.

I used to be afraid to say ‘I Love You’ because I thought ‘I Love You’ means a commitment between two people. I hardly say it to my late dad. I felt awkward. Few hours before he passed away, he stared at me. That look was different, and it came from deep inside of him. I stared at him, but I didn’t even say ‘I Love You‘. It was Love looking at Love, but I never learn to say it.

That Awkwardness Shouldn’t Happen to My Mother.

I didn’t do it consciously. I just felt the need to express love to her without fear being judged (mostly by myself…didn’t we all judge ourselves?). So I said a lot of Love to my late mom years before she passed away. Nights after nights of “Good night Mom, I Love You”, that Love changed her and me. Few days before she passed away, we spoke only Love. She said, “I Miss You”. That was her last words and that was good enough to keep me going knowing she is loved.

And that was a long time ago. And I never stop learning to Love even though I had to go through moments of Tough Love. I guess I’m lucky because Universe sent me people who have already tasted the higher Love to assist me in discovering the essence of Love I had within me.

It took seven years to be our New Self entirely, so they said.

And as I live LBe The Love And Peaceove, I realised that Love can be so different, and it comes in so many forms. First I felt is about me and my feeling. Then Love goes deeper into my cells. It brought up all kind of pain so I could Love my body, my being and my Soul. Then Love appeared in the sounds of birds, in the movement of winds, in the colours of plants, in the silence of the night. Now I feel it in every breath. And it is still unfolding to me with wonders and beauty.

And whatever that I’m describing Love through my experiences can only be so limited because I had put words on it. So please don’t take everything I wrote here as ‘that’s all about Love‘. Love is more than the words I shared with you. Nevertheless, I hope the sharing could expand a little bit of our awareness towards Love.

Love Is…

Unconditional.

It feels higher. It is more fluid, gentle and peace. I remember looking into someone’s eyes and I felt suspended between knowing and unknowing. That’s Love recognising Love. It is for Self, everyone and everything. I now could easily say I Love You to anyone who needs it. I love saying it to animals, to plants…to the Moon, the Stars, the Sun…to anything. I said it to the pain I felt. Commitment doesn’t bother me anymore because this Love has no sensation of lust, ownership, guilt or shame.

Just so you know, Love heals! It healed me. It can heal you. But first, you have to allow yourself to be Loved; by YOU, by the Universe, by anyone and anything without judgement. Let go that old belief about I Love You. Accept it unconditionally. And never give up on Love.

Then learn to Love yourself. Learn to be YOU. Love is Your Self. Be that Love and spread it to the world.

The Light Side of Obsession.

When we talk about obsession, we will be drawn towards one side of perspective, which is the negative ones. The feeling is like addiction towards something or inability to control the compulsive desire. That’s probably how far we label the energy of obsession.

Now I want you to step out from that perspective. Let’s see and understand Obsession at its finest seed. Let’s look at it when it is still raw. What is an obsession and how it helps us to look at the Micro Universe when our physical senses could only sense the Macro Universe?

The Other Side of Obsession

Obsession – The Magnifying Glass.

Have you ever obsess about something or someone that you could not stop paying attention to the details of the object? Obsession, by its nature is here to give us space to focus on details. When we obsess about something, we start to see details in the obsession like shapes, movements, sounds and etc. Obsession is like the magnifying glass that brings the Micro Universe to the surface. Basically it would make our life feels richer.

The Micro Universe is so subtle and often unrecognised until someone focuses on it. However, it requires a deep passion towards the object before one can focus. The raw energy of obsession is to help us focus, and expand our awareness on it.

I believe everyone has the seed of obsession that waits for the right moment. If you haven’t taste obsession, the energy moves like waves. At times, the waves are in harmony. It can be gentle and tender, and it can be intense and raging. It pushes you to the peak and then pulls you to the valley of the waves. That will give you focus on the micro and then back to the macro Universe, so to speak. It will enhance your emotions to the deepest source and then pull you back out to (so-called) reality.

How to Ride Your Obsession in the Healthy Way?

Although obsession mostly relates to negativity, if you experience the energy without labelling the good and bad and without reacting unconsciously towards it, you can ride the waves into details of creations without harming yourself and others. If you are aware that obsession is just an energy you need to focus, you could enjoy the beauty of everything without trying to taint it with addiction or attachment.

The keywords here is to be conscious when you ride the obsession. Any sort of attachment can lead to addiction towards certain emotions and anxiety. When you pulled to focus on the things that excite you and then you find it hard to get out, then that could be the sign of addiction. Any obsession that harm your Soul and/or others, is unhealthy.

The Glimpse of Obsession.

The common obsession that you can experience is when you first fall in love or when you found something that triggers the deepest love in you. This is where you start to pay attention and give in to every energy that can uplift your ability to focus. The recent collective obsession (healthy ones) is the Colouring Books for Adult, which is used to reduce stress and increase the capacity to focus. Another example of obsession is Pokemon Go. Although it is just a game, it has increased the potential for addiction rather than increase the ability to focus on the Micro Universe. This is where many of us find it hard to get out from the obsession until the energy subsides on its own.

Use the energy of Obsession to help you see the details of Life. No matter how fun or excited you get with the obsession, practice moderation. Ride the waves and then get back to the shore so you don’t lose yourself in the sea of Obsession.

I truly love this bird – Olive Backed Sunbird. I loved to feel them and used to play with them too. Whenever they sat on the plastic rope, I will gently touch the other end and shake the rope a little, just to feel their energy. Then I would say, “I feel you!”. They have tiny energy field but very active and strong. Here’s what I learned from them.

Why Forgiveness Fail Big Time?

It has been more than a year I have choose silence over words to blog. In that period, I dived into left-brain world of business, bringing my spirituality quest to experience the real bites of left-brain business. In nearly 20 months, I allowed myself (unconsciously and consciously) to feel the pain; mentally, emotionally and physically.

When we talked about spirituality, we have to put our ego on the table. Everything that I experienced, the likes and dislikes, the happiness and unhappiness; and all its interpretations, can be somewhat related to the ego-self. And that’s the hardest part because facing our ego-self means, all the blames on others must be witnessed instead of judged, accepted instead of condemned and complained.

I must say, failure is inevitable, but success is rewarding especially to our self-evolution.

After I have experienced what left-brain business can do and cannot do, I seek my way back to the journey I desire long time ago. The only different is, this time I know why I’m here and what I need to do for others.

However deeply and excited I am about expanding the business and life entirely, I’m aware that, the stone I’m about to cast into a calm water must come from the state of Love. Intention is very powerful. The effects will reflect the intentions all the way to the end (if the end exist). Forgiveness and You Based on this fact, I decided to start a detachment process in details. The very first things I should do is experience forgiveness. I planned the entire February for this process because I’m leaving the company I worked for 20 months in February. My goal was; all the pain I felt for the past 20 months and the old pains including fears, hatreds, jealousy, resentments, must be transcended as much as I can.

I just want to leave the place feeling peace about everything.

Therefore, I intentionally wrote about Forgiveness in the Iskandarian e-paper for March and April 2015 publication.

All I can sum up about forgiveness is as below:

Forgiveness is about facing our own ego. What truly hurt is the ego.

Our body (the emotion and the physical body) release the pain based on what the mind says (the ego-self). Along this process, we forget the deeper side of who we are, the Soul, is in fact part of the process too.

Where’s the Soul stand in this process?

The energy of forgiveness never comes from our lips and tongue. If we say “I forgive you”, chances we just being nice and pretending are high. The source of forgiveness come from Love, and the place that contains this Love is our Soul. And we constantly forget our Souls, and remain in the state of ego, the place that use pain to live. That could explain why we keep feeling hurts even after we say “I forgive you”.

I truly adore people who refrain themselves from giving others forgiveness because they mean honesty. But that bring us into another state of pain; resistance from allowing forgiveness to flow. Either way, pain is the result.

What I’m sharing with you is about giving back the power to the soul (the real YOU) and let Our True Self, do the forgiveness from the within. The energy of forgiving will emanate healing through us, flow to our mind and body. The forgiveness will not just forgive but heal all sort of pains, mentally, emotionally and physically. And it free us from unnecessary accumulation of pain. This is ‘I forgive You’ that means business.

Let’s stop giving the false power of forgiveness to the ego-mind because it can only forgive with sense of ego and that cannot even free us from the pain, even if it tries.

Lesson from the One-Eye Cat

Everyone is a teacher. Let me rephrase that; everything is a teacher. That includes the animals, nature, things that move, things that still and the entire Universe. If we observe the surrounding, we will learn something from it. There is always a teacher present in our lives to teach us something about LIFE.

This morning I learned a lesson from a furry teacher. She’s a local cat known as Jessybell. Born with only one eye and adopted by packing department* team leader named Rebecca.

Although she is blind but she’s beautiful. She responds to English and Philippines language only.  She’s very active and playful. Yesterday I saw her chasing a plastic bag. This morning she was playing with a leaf. Something we can learn from her that physical imperfection never stop her from living a joyful life.

Pure joy exists when we go beyond the imperfection. See the imperfection through the acceptance will give us the perfection we have right now. Animal knows this.  Jessybell knows it too. It’s only we, the human being refuse to accept our imperfection.

Let’s learn the wisdom from Jessybell. You can have the joy eternally if you learn to see every imperfection through the eyes of acceptance and transmute it into perfection of JOY and LOVE.

Treasure in YOU

We are so caught in the unconscious patterns in searching the self-identification through materialism. We search the world of love and peacefulness through physical treasures like body slimming, fancy cloths, expensive cars and more money. And along the journey to this quest, we become more lack than we first started. Why is that?

The answer is we have lost connection with our true treasure, the SELF within. We spend time focusing on external worlds and treasures and we forget what matters the most is ourselves; the soul that lives in this physical body, the perfect body and health we have, the balance emotions and the powerful mind.

Today, you can start spending 10 minutes on this activity; change your focus from the external world (from money, relationships with others, problems, illness) to your inner world. Only 10 minutes as a start and let us start with one part of the body.

1. Close your eyes.
2. Breathe, inhale and exhale deeply.
3. Focus only on your breath for a moment.
4. Feels the energy living inside you. Feel your hands from within.
5. Acknowledge the hands that feed food into your mouth, the hands that heal others through touches. Feels it but not thinking about it.
6. Feels the love you have between YOU and these hands.
7. Bring these hands to your heart center.
8. Say ‘Thank you for being part of me. I love you’.

This activity can help you connect with your world from within through your physical body. The physical body is known as the door into our inner world. This simple activity can be done in the office or anywhere you like it.

You can do the same activity again tomorrow and you may choose another part of the body like your feet, your eyes, your brain and so forth. You can skip step 7 or use visualization when you connect love between the body parts and your heart. The more you practice, the more deeper you connect with your true treasure – YOURSELF!

Bubbles of Thoughts

If everything in this world exists to tell and teach us something about life, there must be something about the ocean bubbles too. Why are they here? Of course, it is a process of momentum by the waves but why bubbles; an existence of a short-lived life?

Try this perspective;

Let say the ocean bubbles, every of it represent our thoughts. It comes and go in one seconds. It is rare to see ocean bubbles last for a minute. When a bubble appear and disappear, another bubbles take turns. On the beautiful shores around the world, there are countless of bubbles. Perhaps millions or billions, come and go.

Our thoughts work the same way too. Given all the human in this world right now processing thoughts, it could be billions of thoughts appearing right now. Just like the ocean bubbles appearing right now. And as I write this, new thoughts appeared and go, new bubbles appeared and go too.

The similarity is thoughts exist less than seconds too (perhaps less than one second). And the existence of the thoughts never die, just like the existence of the bubbles. Thoughts in general are countless in numbers. That is why we always complaint that we have so many things in our minds. Although they come and go like the bubbles, but their abstract appearance like monkey swings from one branch to another is considered messy most of the time. Hence, we get discomfort by too many thoughts.

So what can we do? We certainly can’t stop the thoughts from coming into our minds, just like the shore can’t stop the bubbles from appearing. However, there is a thing we can do.

Do nothing.

Let the thoughts come and go as it is. Just like the sandy shores let the foam of bubbles come and go as it is. Have you seen any shores in this world hold the bubbles and wait for another momentum so the size of the bubbles become bigger? No. The shores allow the waves work as it is and allow the bubbles appear as it is. We should do the same thing too. Let the thoughts appear as it is. Don’t hold on the thoughts and make it bigger by adding energy to it (by thinking more about it).

Now, don’t get me wrong. There are important thoughts and these thoughts need to be expanded by put it into a plan and actions, healing and creating. It is a process we call manifesting. But think of it wisely, how many thoughts that come to you today are important?  Let say out of thousands thoughts? And really, you must know it. The reason we get mentally tired and miserable because we try to live by all the thoughts! On every thoughts that appeared, we tried to analyze it. We tend to judge it. We try to understand it.

Part of the beautiful beach and shore is the bubbles that appeared after the sound of waves hit the floor. Part of the beautiful mind is our thoughts that appear after one another. Let it be as it is. Let it swing in your mind. Don’t pay attention to it unless it is really important to be manifested into your life. If you do this long enough (on daily practice) you will notice that the thoughts didn’t really have power over you. It just thoughts. You will also notice that they didn’t appear quite frequently as they used to be. You will be surprised that important thoughts will appear visible in your mind compared to unimportant thoughts. Then remarkable ideas and creative thoughts are easily access at this point.

If we didn’t pay attention to our thoughts, where else can we pay attention to?

Life. Pay attention to life entirely. Pay attention to your body by feeling it. Pay attention to the life around you by feeling it. Feels it in your heart and every part of your body. Use all your senses but not your mind. Pay attention to your breathing and you will notice that life breathe as you breathe.

This method of shifting your consciousness has been taught beautifully by Eckhart Tolle in his book The Power of Now.

You have the power to stop from getting miserable with the thoughts that comes into your mind. Let it be. If it is yours and it’s important to be manifested, you just know what you need to do. Otherwise, be harmony like the bubbles and the shores. Accept one another as it is. Accept the thoughts that comes into your mind with love. They will do nothing harm to you and you will not feel mentally tired easily.

If You Must.

For some people, they want to be identified by their thoughts. They take serious note on what is going on inside their mind. They simply need to know what are the things that bothering their minds. Some people needs clarity. It is alright if you must know. Here some simple tips on how you can untangle the messy chains of thoughts in your mind.

Write all the thoughts that appear in your mind in one piece of paper. Spend five minutes for this task. You will be surprised that thousand thoughts you claimed swinging in your mind are actually less than 10 thoughts counted in number. This happen because only important thoughts scream the most. Once you know what kind of thoughts that bothering your mind, you can start taking necessary actions to solve and heal the matter. You can use the same method if you have too many ideas in your mind that you need to manifest the thoughts into reality.
